*THIS HEAT*

Well...It has been a tough week here on the farm. With temps reaching 106 on a few days, we have suffered some loss. We lost a layer, 2 meat rabbits and a litter of 8 babies. Even with taking heat precautions. The ground is so hot that it scorches your feet. We are roughly 17 inches below annual rain fall...so far. There are Burn Bans all over this area because of the wild fires that have been going on. We are fortunate enough to have small enough garden beds to be able to water. If we don't get some rain though, I am concerned about the affects on our fruit trees and berry vines. My Dad's garden is producing...but way dryer than normal. Andrew is getting to work, so that is good. Through it all...I know that God is in control. I am confident that He knows what He is doing :o)
