A new feeling

 Donovan Ross was born on May 7th

 I am TOTALLY taken bu surprise, as to how being a G'ma would make me feel!!!!

 I thought I loved his daddy more than life.....

 There are NO WORDS to express my feelings for him!!!

 I am beginning to see a WHOLE NEW perspective of life.....

All of the things I have been through in my life...ups and downs....highs and lows....

THIS feeling.....is BY FAR the very best!!!!!! *sigh* :o)

I can't stop grinning...... :o)

Been kinda busy lately :o)

As the onset of the busiest time of the year for me, I found little time lately to share the goings on around here at SONshine farm. I have been wanting to share, just haven't had any time.

here are a few things keeping me busy, other than the usual

~The abundance of mulberries and the making of mulberry pies and jam

~The abundance of blackberries and making blackberry pies and jam

~The abundance of cucumbers and the making of hot garlic dill pickles

~The abundance of herbs of every kind and harvesting and drying

~The abundance of turkeys and processing

~~the tomato vines are LOADED

~the pepper plants are loaded

 the cucumber vines have been very fruitful thus far...

making me a quart of pickles or two every day with some left for snacking ;o)

 100 lbs of fresh and TENDER turkey

we skin some and then pluck some

 March babies

Rattlesnake season is in FULL swing
